Solution Vexillarius Oct 25, 2014 From an i5-3570K to an i5-4690K is about a 10-20% difference. Not worth upgrading, that 3rd gen i5 is still plenty today. EDIT: Going from an i3 to an i5 is a big difference, 3rd or 4th gen.
