So, Im building a pc, and for reasons I wont go into, I bought most of the parts at least a couple months early. I've stored them in a metal locker, and have opened the boxes to check the contents. I haven't taken any sensitive components out of their inner packaging. When I do take them out to check on them, I do so with with great careIs this an ok place to store it? Is it safe? When I build my computer in a month, will they still be okay to use?

(all parts still in original packaging with any styrofoam)

Parts I bought is :

-mobo(hasn't left its static free bag)
-cpu cooler
-psu
-optical drive
-keyboard + mkouse
-case

Solution
Yes. They stay on shelves in warehouses for months/years.
Leave them alone to prevent accidental dropping or other accidents.

I'm assuming that the cabinet is nowhere near a nuclear reactor or plasma welding/cutting facility (great story from back in the day)
