Hey guys.

I'm new to the forum, so I wish to say hi to all of you. Well I need help with upgrading my pc, and since I don't know shit about pc parts (I know a lot about software and windows, but the hardware part is not my thing).

Anyway, I have an old configuration, and I managed to game for 7-8 years with it perfectly. It managed to run some of the best games, and doesn't matter if I played it on low, medium or even high, I enjoyed playing those games.

Now, with the next gen, my pc is not able to run the games at the playable fps anymore.

So here is my configuration

Anyway, I understand that mine gpu is the biggest problem, and so I would you to reccomened a graphics card that will fit mine motherboard. Nothing fancy and expensive, I just want something that will increase fps in games, like some newer games, maybe fifa 15, becouse with everything on low i get 19-24 fps, and its unplayable. Also some older games like alan wake, i managed to complete it, but i was playing on 23 fps with a lot of lag.

I found this gpu

Gigabyte Nvidia Geforce GTS 450 ---it's 1024mb I think, and by looking at the youtube videos I think it's a great card, plus it's about 50 euros in my country, which is not a lot.

Also, I was planning on upgrading my procesor to maybe quad core or the core 2 duo e8400, but first the GPU.

thank you

I know that, but I'm simply not planning on buying a new pc. It's just that I don't play that often anymore becouse I'm too busy, so I just want a new gpu to give my pc a boost, and increase the performance.

Like I said, I watched a lot of youtube videos, about gameplays with gts 450 and e7200 2.53 combined, and they work great, I mean there are a lot of games that they run on high settings.

So will I be able to run AC II on medium or high settings, bf3, cod black ops 2 on high and some other games?

Also I found out another cheap gpu which is a little bit more expensive that the GTS 450. It's the Asus HD 6850 1GB GDDR5 and it's only 10 euros bigger price.
