Greetings all,

I'm noticing that my liquid cooling fan is starting to get loud when I boot up my pc. This has started occuring last night. Im'n to sure what the issue could be. Might I need to replace my cooling unit? I have a Corsair 120mm closed-loop system. Temps appear to be fine, but the fact that it isn't running quietly anymore has me concerned. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I've tried blowing the dust out of it, and it still does it. Might I need to take it off and do a more thorough cleaning?

I took off both of my coolers from the radiator, and I let water rinse through the radiator to get all of the dust out from it. Still plugged on to the CPU cooler unit thingy ofc, didn't open the closed loop.
Just make sure you dry it properly.

Do you mean like taking off the radiator but still keeping the pump and all attached to the cpu? Then just rinse with some water? Sorry, but trying to be sure of what I'm doing. :D

No. I removed the cooling completely, with the pump and everything out of the case. Didn't open the closed loop at all.
After removing it I unscrewed both air coolers, and rinsed only the radiator to clean it. The radiator was still attached to the loop as I rinsed.

hope it makes sense :D

Ah ok, now it does. I'll give this a shot. This my first time doing this. I won't have worry about losing coolant as long as I keep the cpu cooler and radiator together correct?

Okay, Ive tried what you recommended but the fan still continues to act abnormally. I also noticed 2 other things start to occur as well...

1. My top case fans were not spinning, but I adjusted the fan controls some and they kicked on.

2. My gpu has 2 fans on it. Gtx 780ti is what I have. Only one of them is spinning right now. I'm not sure how long this has been happening, but it still does this. Is this normal?

Sorry for all the questions. Your help is much appreciated.

Even trying Speed fan and changing the settings in bios didn't seem to work. I may just have to get a new cooler. Can't think of anything else to do. This fan is going at ~4600 rpm. That can't be normal xD
