Xbox 360 on a DVI monitor?

Ok so my pc needs repairing and I will have to play my old 360 if I want to game, so I would like to hook it up to my monitor. What will I need to be able to play it on my DVI monitor? Just a HDMI to DVI cable or will I need something else?

Just for the audio, but a plain HDMI to DVI cable would work fine.

It's somewhat unlikely his monitor has audio. But yes a simple hdmi to dvi cable will display the video.
Video cards usually come with an adapter or two, but usually only for VGA.

VGA can still display 1080p though.

Uhh, does that monitor even have a DVI connection? cause the amazon page says it doesn't.

Hmm, I guess it doesn't, I just assumed it did. I just took a look and it has something called D-Sub.

So id just plug the D-Sub male into the monitor and the xbox side in the xbox, but what about the white and red things? Just leave them out?

Your monitor should have similar connections on it.
The red and white are audio cables, typically found on TVs, I'd imagine the monitor should have ports for them since have speakers on it.

So ive just had another look at the monitor at there is no red and or white audio cable "slots" for them to go in.
