I saved my photos to a number of pen drives - before having my laptop restored to factory settings - I checked they were on the the pen drives - months later I tried to copy the files onto my laptop but many of my old family photos seem to have disappeared - I have tried show files and using recovery software - I have lost precious family photos - does anyone have any idea what could have happened - and if i can get them back?
