How much is my PC worth?
Okay so about this time last year I really wanted to build my own PC rather than buy one already built as they can perform better but had no initiation to do it my self so I let one of my brother's friends collect all the parts that were needed, then I'd buy them and he built it. So he built the PC it turned on but could not leave the BIOS no keyboard was compatible and we tried everything except taking out the mo/bo and resetting the cmos which in turn resets the bios. Now the reason I haven't tried this is because I'm not really that good with computers and my interest for an amazing gaming PC has dropped quite a bit and I really need the money for other ventures. I haven't actually got one day use out of this so it is essentially new.
specs:
Cooler Master CM-690 II Advanced USB3.0 Dominator Case - Black
Intel Core i7-3820 3.60GHz Socket LGA2011 Processor
Gigabyte X79-UD3 Intel X79 (Socket 2011) DDR3 Motherboard
Cooler Master Hyper 412S CPU Cooler
KFA2 GeForce GTX 760 EX OC 2048MB GDDR5 PC
Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit
Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM 1TB SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache - OEM
Cooler Master GX 750W '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply
Samsung SH-118AB/BEBE SATA 18x DVD-ROM (Black) - OEM
Asus Xonar DG 5.1 PCI Sound Card with built in Headphone amp}}-

All advice is much appreciated.

Its not bad. But to get a good dollar for it, you'll need to get it working. If it was working, you could probably get $1000 for it. As is, probably $500.

It'd be worth spending $200 to get it fixed.

I got the same case, same cooler, had the same cpu.
if the computer doesn't boot i doubt you could get much for it. even worse you don't know whats wrong with it so it could be something that is overlooked lose or not installed right, one or worse it could be one or multiple parts that are defective, or a damaged part from installing or even turning it on

because I havent been able to install windows
it boots to the bios but cant get past there keyboard wont compute, the ports are not defective because when I plug in my mouse the led turns on.
I'm pretty sure this is the solution to it. : http://youtu.be/-9RnIj-EcdQ

Also like to mention that all those components are pretty much new and still have all boxes for them
