Going into my first PC build, I'm worried if my computer will be able to run the games I want to play. I am on a $800 budget, and want to make sure my GPU and CPU will run my favorite games well.

For the GPU I am looking at an MSI R9 270x gaming with 2 GB of memory.
For my CPU I will be using an AMD FX-6300
If it matters, I will also use 8GB of HyperX Fury RAM.

How will these products run games like Battlefield 4, Planetside 2 and League of Legends? From research I've seen some pretty good results, but I'd like to hear from the experts. :)

im running the same graphics card and ram with the exception of a i5 3570k instead of AMD FX-6300 and i can say for league of legends i can run everything on max in 1080 with over 200 fps but i just cap it at 60 and as for battlefield and planetside i know both of those games are pretty intense games for a pc im sure you could run it on high with at least 60 fps

also i would recommend intel processor over AMD as it is pretty much superior in every way AMD just tries to sound fancy with there 8 core and what not but in reality only a hand full of games can even take advantage of that many most only use 4. anyways just my opinion.

Thanks for the info! I've seen some benchmark test where the AMD FX-6300 ran equal and usually over the i5's, so I think I will get some good performance out of this build. As for going with AMD, I have found a great budget motherboard that I enjoy (Asus M5A97), and it supports an AM3+ socket so I will have no choice but to go with AMD. Thanks again!
