I spilled tea on my desk, and the puddle dripped down from my desk through the hole for the wires down onto my desktop PC. Unfortunately, the case has a grille right there for air, and the tear poured inside through it.
There were no sparks or smoking or any burning smell as I turned it off and disconnected it, but some parts are wet. Wires from the power supply are wet, as are the connectors. There was tea pooling on the top of the PSU case (the PSU was positioned at the bottom of the PC case), but nothing seemed to have made it inside.
Some tea was on the the video card, the side with the circuit board exposed, and some of it was in the connectors for the power as well. The rest seems dry.
Nothing was really soaked, mostly just drops of tea in places. Now I took out all the components and want to leave them for a few days to dry, but I don't know what's the best way to do so? It's currently pretty cold in my apartment and not super dry either. And what are my chances that all the parts will live anyway? Should I be worried that something might catch fire once I dry it and plug it all back in?
