Can intel D845gvfn mother board support 1tb seagate external hard disk

I have intel 2.4giz Intel p4 processor with 2gb ram and d845gvfn mother board. Is it sufficient for 1tb seagate external hard disk.

Pretty old board you have there, it will work just fine, but you might want to check whether or not you have SATA power connectors or IDE power connectors. If not, you can pick up adapters for IDE-SATA at any computer store.
