Can someone help diagnose a problem with my PC?

Hi guys, if you look at my earlier threads you'll see the trouble I was having with my pre-built gaming PC from iBuyPower.com (I will build my own next time). My games are constantly freezing an it's not that my computer can't handle them. I was able to play on Skyrim Ultra high for a while but now I am crashing and freezing on the COD 4 demo where I can even count the pixels on the screen.

I've had to return the computer once from here, New York to California and the wait is too long, I should not be having problems like this after paying $1000. They said the ram and video card was failing, they replaced those. I got the PC back on Tuesday and encountered almost the same problem. Games freeze after bout 30 seconds, process like opening apps can be slow. My old 2gb ram PC was more reliable than this. So I called again and the guy tells me that it's most likely my Hard Drive. Then tells me to run a diagnostic (Seatools) I did the long generic one and the only thing that failed was a USB memory device but it seems the actual Hard Drive was fine. He also told me to reformat it, do you think this will work? The PC is brand new, it's not like I could have downloaded something to make it like this.

Are these symptoms of a failing Hard Drive? If needed I will provide specs. Thank you guys! I can't deal with iBuyPower anymore, they allow me to return my things but they should be fixed, I've seen no positive changes at all from the RMA process and have been waiting 1 month+ for this PC to work properly.

Solution
Thats really really weird symptoms. You could run something like prime 95 and see if it thermal throttles after 10 minutes. Just be sure to be there for when (or if) it reaches 75-100c
