Hi everyone, I've been having a few problems with my phone. First the phone is an HTC One (m8), the first problem is while web browsing it will automatically refresh the page, this gets very annoying considering I have to find my spot again when reading. The next problem is when watching videos YouTube/Netflix it stops loading, on YouTube it will stop loading leaving me to have to press play 5-6 times and let it buffer on a 10 min video. And on Netflix it not only stops but it get out of the video making me wait for it to buffer, this happens 5-6 time too. And the final problem is with games, I'll be playing games leo's fortune/geometry dash and it pauses randomly, this is annoying on geometry dash because I die and lose my progress. If you're wondering I've been using chrome for my browser. Videos seem to work fine on my smart tv and Xbox so I don't think its my internet. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

if you leave the browser it will refresh when going back (haven't found a fix for that as it doesn't seem to be like a web page on pc/laptop)

as far as brower I use chrome and firefox a while back as a lot of plugings will work for it just like pc

you can try downloading www.speedtest.net app on google play (search speedtest and should be by oakla sorry for spellig) and check the speed/ping from where is good and where have issues. if issues are at a hotspot or business they sometimes hinder/buffer or even denie some sites like youtube and netflix due to bandwidth drain

First try using another browser, if that doesn't fix it, then you should reinstall the OS by downloading the RUU from their website and running it.

I would suggest ROOT and use youtube downloader so that you never have issues with playback since you can just download, view the video, delete it.

Hope it helps, I've never had any issues with my M7 or M8, but I am rooted and using ARHD ROM.

OK thanks, I am using another WiFi (business), and I'm having none of the problems above. I'm still deciding if I want to root my phone, I thing I would like cyanogen mod but I am still deciding. I'm going to buy a new router and see if that fixes my problems. Thanks again :)
