Hey guys I'm here I wanted peoples advise on the build I chose. I did a lot of research but the more I read the more I find out n frankly I'm starting to get a Lil lost but not deterred from the goal. Any way I chose a corsair carbide 500r black as my case and planning on replacing and adding aftermarket fans 9 in total so I plan on changing the 2 front fans with corsair sp120. Replacing the 1 200mm fan with 2 af120 fans high performance edition. I'm putting 2 af140 fans at top. Replacing the the stock exhaust with a af120. And 2 sp120 fans for a push pull setup for CPU cooler still not sure about those fans for the cpu . all fans are corsair quiet edition with the exception of the side fans they are high performence . just wanted to explain the fan setup realquick. Please give me your opinions this is my first build.

You don't really need all those fans with just 1 GPU and the I5, there wont be much of a heat issue. Was your plan to to use your computer as a House Dust collection system because you would certainly be cleaning filters nearly once a week. 2 fans on the I5 "Which is overkill" replace the 2 case fans and that is all you really need. That case has great air flow as is. I removed a few from the list which is still left overkill.

For over $1000 you could have picked a better quality power supply, I found a better one on sale and cheaper
If your gaming and not doing rendering or heavy Photoshopping 8gig RAM 1600 or above is good. Check the sale I picked very nice ram.
Change the motherboard to just a flat out better quality one
Any other changers were to balance $ Probably could have tweak it more and knocked off another $100.
Gaming on Wireless..... "Shudders"

So leave the stock CPU fan on the cooler I'm trying to have a quiet system.

Also if I knock off the 2 x 4 GB to a 2x8 GB it would be better for gaming.

For the the graphics card is it a bad one I figured it would work it was suggested.

Also is my motherboard really bad BC I was reading mixed reviews about it I was leaning towards the as rock z97 extreme 4 instead

But like I said its my first build that I'm doing and it feels like I'm drowning with information that my build keeps getting pricier by the min I don't mind spending the cash for something that could last me awhile I like playing RTS games.

You cannot make a quiet system by adding more fans . Fans make the noise .

Start with a case designed for noise reduction .
The Fractal design R4 could be a good choice , or the Antec P280

Gigabyte and Asus make the best mb's . Asrock are OK but generally lighter built . MSI = average

2 x8 gig of RAM is better in every way than 4 x4 gig
