What motherboard is best for gaming and video editing with the i7 4790K?

Any motherboard with a Z97 chipset is fine.
Compare features like audio if you plug headphones into the motherboard.
If you plan to use two graphics cards, ensure the PCI-E slots support x8/x8 mode.
The MSI Z97 gaming series have great audio including virtual surround sound from stereo headphones as well as PCI-E 3.0 x8/x8 support.

I have the cpu i7 4790K which graphic card would you say is best? I will get a couple of the 4 to 6 TB internal hard drives speed 7200. I will get at least 16 rams to start with.

Big hard drives are great for storage of bulk data, but you want a decent SSD for at least operating system and temporary space for video if you want the best performance.
Every benchmark I can find for media encoding is for CPUs, so perhaps this isn't hardware accelerated by the GPU. In this case just the integrated graphics is fine. You CPU supports quick sync which should make a big difference.
What resolution video are you encoding?

I am not sure what resolution video I will be using for encoding. I want to transfer videos to blu-ray and dvd. Maybe I will check with some software's I will be using if that is the case. I was going to buy the Big Hard Drives to store all the media files on. I can put them as a slave drive. My master drive I wont keep any media files on them.

I saw your post. You have suggested one board and then linked a review article.
The review you have linked includes benchmarks for video encoding and the board you have suggested loses in every single benchmark to the Gigabyte board.
They gave the ASRock board a value award, which isn't surprising since they are one of the cheapest motherboard manufacturers.
The reality is that the performance differences they have shown are very small. The best board for any particular build will depend more on the features required and the applications for which it is used. There is also the argument of quality, which is why Asus are able to charge more for their boards.

It is a good idea to look at recommended system requirements for the software you are going to use to see if a minimum graphics card or minimum video RAM are required. I think encoding 1080p video is pretty easy these days but 4K video requires better hardware.

I was looking at the Asus Pro people were complaining about the wifi not working. I don't think I want wifi as my desktop will always be wired and wifi signal isnt always best as it drops so quickly. The Hero motherboard looked interesting and some of the Gigabytes looked nice.
