Sorry if I posted in the wrong category, as there was no category for windows 10.

Please help me. I installed Windows 10 Technical Preview in my laptop (Dell Inpiron 1440) and it had installed succesfullly. After 2 days. It asked me to restart for installing updates. So I restarted it and at the boot screen (Windows logo and rotating circle), it shows 'Setting up...' The progress (%) was going succesfully upto 48% and suddently it hung. :( I waited for more that 1 hour & still there was no change. So I directly switched off the laptop (by pressing and holding the power button for 5 seconds). Then I again opened the laptop. It then showed the boot screen (windows logo & progress circle) and then it shows 'Restoring to your previous version of windows' and shows no progress. Then after waiting for more than 1 hour, there is no change! :??:So PLEASE HELP!
:eek2:

Finally I solved it myself! I inserted the Windows 10 installation media, then I went into recovery (repair) mode, then I selected 'Remove Windows 10 Technical Preview Updates' or something like that. Then there were 2 OSs listed one named 'Windows 10 Technical Preview' and other named 'Windows Rollback'. I selected 'Windows 10 Technical Preview'. Then it was written 'rolling back pending update changes' or something like that. After that voila! It restored succeasfully and fixed it! After booting into WIndows succesfully, a message showed that window update had failed due to error 0x80070490. Then I ran the toubleshooter for Windows Update, and fixed 2 errors regarding Windows Update!
