Will buying a new motherboard solve all my problems?

Hi,

Ever since I tried to overclock my RAM to 5-5-5-9 or something like that, my PC has given me SOOO much problems. I think I'm giving up.

I've tried formatting both my SSD and HDD, re-installing Wjndows, resetting CMOS, and done all sorts of things in hopes of ridding my PC of all its problems, but to no avail.

So, will buying a new motherboard fix everything ?

Any input would be appreciated,
Thanks

1. A Samsung SSD doesn't have that issue that Crucial solved in a firmware revision. That somewhat silly procedure doesn't apply to your SSD.
2. Test everything outside of the case. If you don't know how to do that, then bring the PC to a shop or a friend who knows how to fix it.

everything that's on my motherboard~

CPU
i5-3350p

GPU
Gigabyte R9 270x

RAM
Corsair Vengreance 2x4GB 1600MHz CAS 9

PSU
Seasonic S12ii 520w

It seems that the PC can occasionally start when I removed the cap off the " CLRCMOS " pins completely. The PC boots, but my GPU doesn't turn on. And since it doesn't turn on, I don't see anything on my monitor. Note that the i5-3350p has no iGPU.

I'm tired of fixing my PC ...

Do you guys get this may problems with yours ? If a simple motherboard change would solve everything, I don't mind spending another $100.

What motherboard are you using? Does the startup issue occur most of the time? If so I'd test everything outside of the case and if you still have the same start up issues, test with a different PSU and GPU (an old PCI or PCI Express GPU would be fine). It could definitely be the motherboard, but I can't tell you that replacing it will definitely resolve the issue. I've had that issue with my own desktop that ran fine when I removed the motherboard from the case.

Oops, looks like I left out the motherboard xD

I'm using the Asrock B75 Pro3-M

Previously, before I cleaned my case ( and touched the SSD ) , the PC was working fine apart from the minor problems it's scarred with. I don't think it's a hardware issue.

I just need to know 2 things ( I think )

1. How to reset SSD power cycle and turn it on
2. How to reset BIOS problem free

1. I never heard of that. When you power on the SSD gets power and it loses it when you power the system off.
2. Please explain what you mean. If you reset the CMOS, flashed the latest BIOS, reset the CMOS to the default values after the flash and saved the default values, there's nothing else that can be done.

Since you cleaned your case, you should disconnect and reconnect all connectors because one could be partly dislodged.
