Hello,

I got myself a new pc build and connected everything. I wanted to start the system but it didn't boot. The D-RAM LED is lighten up and the motherboard didn't beep once. The optical drive and all the fans are working. I have the Razer Black Widow(keyboard) and the Razer Naga Molten(mouse) and they don't seem to connect to the system via USB 2/3(LED's not on). However, if I try to charge my HTC ONE M8 via USB, it works. My RAM is HyperX Fury Black 1600Mhz (2x4GB). I tried to press the MemOK button for 3 seconds but it didn't help. In the users guide my RAM is not listed in the QVL.
Is my RAM not compatible with the motherboard? How can I solve this issue?

Thanks for the help :)

Solution
I doubt it's a RAM compatibility issue. Lots of memory works fine if not on the QVL list.

I would suggest:

1) re-check all connections

2) remove and reinstall DDR3 memory, and verify it's in the correct slots (see motherboard manual but often #2, and #4 for two sticks)

3) verify your CPU is supported. In some cases a BIOS update is needed.

4) if stuck contact Asus tech support
