Hi everyone, I've just build a new gaming rig with

Asus ROG VII Ranger
G.skill ripjaws X 1600 8x2
Asus 980 GTX ref
SSD Samsung 840 pro 256gb
HDD WD black 1tb
Corsair rm1000
I had sound issues : popping sound before and after any other sound output starts, random BSOD, overall instability
Supposing sound problems are coming from the mobo,

I replaced it with Asus z97 pro wifi.
Now I've got:
First 10 boot ups: no post, hang on 36 on the mobo error screen.
Managed to get to bios using memOK - was able to boot manually through boot override.
On each restart - the same issue with black screen and error 36 on the mobo, even during windows installation.
Tried setting smp to profile 1 - got infinite reboot. Later the same settings worked fine.
All this time bios was on defaults. Changed overall plan from normal to Asus Optimal - computer now boots normally. Got BSOD during windows installation.
Second time installed successfully.

Now in windows - random BSOD, very slow performance, crashing explorer, google chrome. Some processes like VPN connection window takes infinite time to complete. Sometime shows BSOD of USB or Nvidia driver, sometimes kernel something.
Also freezes every third time when entering bios.
Tried installing windows on HDD - same issues. Memtest utility showed no errors in ram.
Why could be the reason for that? Please help!

Thanks for the reply! No I haven't, can it actually be the reason? It even crashes bios quite often.. Like I enter BIOS all data is N/A and no response
