Hi!
I just got the Razer Megalodon headset. It came without any drivers, so after plugin into the USB, windows should instal the drivers or at least tell me, that WIN can't find them.
The only thing that happens, is that the POWER icon is lightning up on the headset, but CONNECTION icon does not. It seams, that OS can't see the device connected. Downloaded razer drivers (Razer Megalodon Firmware) also tells me that.

- I'm using Windows 7 x64 PRO
- USB port is working fine with other devices.
- I've tried to plug-in the headset to ALL other USB's (2.0 and 3.0)
- I've also tried to connect it some ports on another PC with Windows 7 x64 HOME
- I've tired to "reset" the USB drivers.
- Iv'e tried to turn off the xHCI hands-off in BIOS (i read that this could help) but windows stuck on loading screen so i need to make it ENABLE again to make the OS run.
- I've tried to reset the headset by pressing and holding the channel button in the middle of the control panel.

I have no more ideas and I'm starting to think, that this headset is not working as it should cuz thouse headphone should just PLUG AND PLAY
If somebody can provide a fix for this, i would be greatful.
(sorry for my english)

did you read this?
"Do I have to download any drivers for the the Razer Megalodon?
No, that is part of the beauty of the Razer Megalodon. There is no need to install any drivers on your computer. However, please be sure to update your Razer Megalodon with the latest firmware. You can download the latest firmware here."

it's from razer's website. link here http://www.razersupport.com/gaming-audio/razer-megalodon/

"Downloaded razer drivers also tells me that." By downloaded drivers I ment Razer Megalodon Firmware ofc. It can't do anything cuz he don't see connetced device.

If it doesnt work in a USB port it may need a powered hub.

Came across a similar prob in here when someone tried to get his headset recognised. After going into the details tab of the device, and going through it, one of the entries said baddevice or something.

After a few hrs we figured out that the USB port it was plugged into wasnt supplying enough power for it. And the drivers got so far then failed. Had to plug it into a powered USB hub to fix it. Once the guy added the hub, the drivers installed

Exactlly. And I can't even start to install anything cuz windows don't see any connection.

yes your right but the problem is with he's razer is not even detected unlike those people. it was detected by windows only can't install drivers that's why they needed the to power it up properly.
