Hi guys, so I'd like to get a new CPU and MOBO and I thought about buying the i7 4770K , just because it's on sale. But I must get a new mobo but I don't know which one should I buy

So here are my questions:
Is the i7 4770K compatible with other components from my pc
Which motherboard should I get for the i7 4770K (It should be cheap, very cheap, good quality, and if possible, it should have SLI)

Here is my RIG:
2x2 Transcend RAM 1333MHz DDR3
MSI GTX 660 GDDR5
Seagate Barracuda Green SATA2 1TB
Corsair GS 600 (600W)

Old CPU: AMD Athlon 2 X2 250 3.0 GHz (2 Cores)
Old MOBO: Biostar NF520D3

I want that my GPU isn't bottlenecked anymore and that I can play more games on ultimate settings :)

PS: I see that the i7 4790K is even cheaper than the i7 4770K , why is it so?

Last question: With the ASUS Z97, am I going to have issues with bios, because I'm doing this for the first time with a new mobo and I don't know anything about BIOS. Is my computer just normally going to boot or is the BIOS going to pop up and I have to install something or idk?

When you change motherboards with Windows 7 you 99% of the time have to reinstall because the installation is tied to the motherboard. If you have 8.1 you MIGHT not have to, but you will have to reactivate Windows through the automated phone service, IF you don't have to reinstall.

But, changing between AMD and Intel will certainly require a full reinstall with Windows 7 and I would say it is 50/50 with Windows 8.

Well I have no Win 7 CD, so I need to download it , burn it and make it bootable, or buy it... again? When I start the PC for the first time with the new mobo, should I right before it boots put in the CD or what?

You will need to insert the Windows disk before you boot the computer and then boot to the disk to reinstall Windows.

If you have your CD key, you can just make a USB or DVD to reinstall and use your CD key. If it was an OEM copy, you will need to call Microsoft to get it reactivated, if not, then the key should just work.
