Motherboard Asus H97M-E http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/H97ME/

I have read that some asus h97 motherboards allow basic overclocking, as i have 1866 Mhz CL9 Crucial Ballistix ram(http://uk.crucial.com/gbr/en/BLT2CP4G3D1869DT1TX0CEU?imodule=BLT2CP4G3D1869DT1TX0CEU) is there i way to overclock it to 1866 mhz cause the motherboard stated maximum memory clock is supposed to be 1600 mhz?

Now im running on XMP profile and it runes at 1600 mhz cause the motherboard is holding it back, the XMP profile is only for 1866 mhz so the motherboard underclock it to it's maximum of 1600, any way to push the limit to 1866?

When i was buying the comp 6 months ago that ram was 86€ here, almost same as others that's why i took this one even if i can't use it to it's maximum potential. The problem is that now that im looking for upgrading and buying same RAM the cost went up, and i can get 1600 mhz CL8 ram for cheaper, so should i sell this one and buy 4x4GB of Crucial Ballistix 1600 mhz CL 8 instead?

Nope. Look at the notes under Memory category in Asus H97M-E motherboard's specifications - "higher memory modules on XMP mode will run at the maximum transfer rate of DDR3 1600 Mhz". Also, Asus let the H97 chipset to support CPU overclocking only, I guess.

One more think, can i overclock the CL latency timings from 9 to 8? The ram has a heatsink and is good for overclocking.

Because if i can overclock the timings to CL 8 at 1600 mhz, then im gonna buy the crucial ballistix 1600 CL 8, also if i buy this anyway will there be any compatiblity issue? Or should i just buy the same crucial 1866 CL 9 ballistix tactical ram?

Well for competitive gaming online like Coutner Strike Global offensive those timings are still important. There you can kill a guy with one shot, if both push the trigger at same time, the guy with faster ram(lower CL timing) wins.

The ram CL timings difference is most visible in action racing games like Trackmania nations when you play online and play Time attack when it isn't important for all players to start at the same time, the ppl with lower faster RAM starts that few miliseconds earlier which is very visible in a racing game with speeds of up to 900 km/h, same in Formula, 1 milisecond is very visible distance there.
