Hey all, first time posting here.
So I live in Australia and I'm looking for a PC that can run BF4 premium (all the dlc maps) at 60 fps on at least medium settings. I'm not looking for great graphics so much as good fps, so medium settings at the default resolution is fine with me.

My budget is between $650 ~ $800 max, and I live in Australia (sunshine coast) so I need parts and prices suited for my location. It also needs to include a wi-fi adapter, but it doesn't need a OS or a DVD drive.

Thanks.

Ideally you'd want to add an aftermarket cooler and overclock the processor too
but this should play BF4 on better than medium

Honorable
270X is enough for Battlefield 4 (60 fps average at 1080p ultra settings, drops down to only 50fps). Aftermarket coolers are coolers designed by a different company which is more often than not better than the normal coolers but it's more expensive.

Yeah, thanks. Is there any extra precautions I should take to keep it cool? I know to keep windows open and let the room ventilate and stuff, but is there anything else I need to do or can I just leave it like it is and use the PC. Also, is there much to putting together a PC yourself? I'm going to read up on it before I do, but are there any tips to keep in mind?

All processors have a heatsink and fan clamped on them to keep them cool . The ones intel and AMD ship are designed to do a good enough job and be really cheap .
If you spend more on a larger cpu cooler you will get some combination of
cooler running
quieter running
and the ability to over clock the processor to get more power [ not all processors , but definitely the FX 6300 which is easy to OC using AMD's software ]
