I have a custom-built computer that I have been using for a few months but as of recently it has been randomly turning off and now will not turn on at all. The motherboard, (Asus M5A97 R 2.0) has the standby light blinking and will not turn on. I have read some other things saying that the that the power supply should be blinking too. My PSU (Sentey Extreme 550 watt) does not have a light or is just not on. Either way the instructions did not work. Another thing to note is that yesterday there was a storm and several noticeable power surges. There were no outages, however.
