Crysis 3 CPU usage drops and fps drops.

When I play Crysis 3 my fps will stay around 50-80fps but then it pauses for half a second and my fps drops to 20 for one second and then back up, I can see in task manager that my CPU usage drops significantly every time this happens.
My specs:
CPU: FX 6300 @4ghz
GPU: XFX r9 280
RAM: Kingston hyperX fury red 1866mhz 8GB (2x4)
HDD: 1tb western digital caviar blue 7200rpm
PSU: EVGA supernova nex750b.

Usually indicates some other resource is not available and the CPU is waiting on that. Try using Resource monitor and chec for I/O, RAM, paging... something. Even network.

I just ended process trees of most of the high usage processes and it seems to have stopped, now I will just go through them step by step until I find which program is causing it, thanks for the help.
