The Core i7 is the better buy, but as far as frame rate goes, it depends on the resolution and the settings you want to play at. Also bear in mind that DayZ is still in development, so it may not run well on even the most powerful PCs.

Unfortunately, it's impossible to say as the game is still in development. I've heard of people having to edit configuration files to get a good frame rate, so your best bet is to check some benchmarks and YouTube videos.

No worries, most modern games should run well at 1080p but I'd want to upgrade the GPU and PSU ASAP, particularly the PSU.
