I've been trying for a while to connect my pc to the internet using cables.
i've tried running a cable from the router to the Pc but it took a lot of cable running accross floors and people kept falling over.
I've tried using access points and spare routers, and i've tried sharing my laptop's wifi connection.
All to no avail.
So my plan is to buy the same wifi card that my laptop has and use that instead, because i know it works well.
Can anyone tell me if this is a laptop only wifi card, or can i use it in my desktop pc?
Also, will it cause issues that both my laptop and my desktop are connecting using the same model of wifi card? (I don't think this will, as my sister and i have the same latop and its never cause any problems.
