Msi afterburner overclock help

So I have overclocked my gpu, however I was wondering does the card only get overclocked when msi afterburner is open, battlefield 4 doesnt like msi afterburner so i have to play with it closed, but will the graphics card still be overclocked or do I have to have msi afterburner open?

Yes.
If you close MSI Afterburner, the settings are still the same, the way you left it when you closed it.
Just remember to use the 'apply' button.

well i know that within catalyst control center, my card stays overclocked when i close msi afterburner. not sure if the voltage stays the same but i would assume it might. i would have to play a game and monitor the voltage of the card.
