Hello,

I've decided to build myself a new desktop, my first one for that matter. I've picked some parts and just wanted to run everything by you guys to make sure I didn't miss anything or chose a bad component or something.
Here's what I picked:
Case: NZXT Phantom 410

CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K Devil's Canyon Quad-Core 3.5GHz

MoBo: ASUS MAXIMUS VI HERO LGA 1150 Intel Z87

GPU: MSI GTX 970 GAMING 4G

PSU: CORSAIR CXM series CX750M

RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)

HDD: Seagate Hybrid Drive ST2000DX001 2TB MLC/8GB 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s NCQ 3.5" Desktop SSHD

Cooling: CORSAIR Hydro Series H60

Monitor: SAMSUNG SD590

Any feedback is appreciated, thank you for looking!

Corsair makes many type of PSUs. The problem with the one you chose is that it's not made for high end gaming builds. It doesn't have the built quality of a EVGA SuperNova or a BeQuiet Dark Power Pro. If you want to stick with Corsair, you should check out the RM or TX series. They are more appropriate for overclockers and heavy gamers since it will give more constant power and better efficiency.

As of right now I'm getting the z87 which I think should be compatible with the i5 4690k out of the box, I was thinking of getting the 600w which would suffice bit the price difference was so meager that I decided to get the bigger one instead. I believe I read somewhere that the RAM speed doesn't necessarily have much effect after the 1600 point, but I don't know for sure.
