I have a amd hd 7770 GPU, i seen a lot of gameplays of high end games running on hd 7770 very well. But when i run those games with the same specs of that gameplays except cpu i run those games very slow. I putted a question asking what is bottleneck, saw many videos on youtube about bottlenecking. After knowing about bottlenecking, I thought that may be my cpu is bottlenecking my gpu.
Cpu --- Intel core 2 quad q8300 2.5 ghz (O.C to 2.62ghz)
Gpu --- Sapphire amd hd 7770 1gb gddr5
Ram --- kingston 4 gb ram

Can my cpu bottleneck my GPu
plzzzzz help, i bought this graphic card after conveniencing my parent till 1 YEAR
plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz help me someone

Solution
Seriously doubt it would be, the 7770 is a low end GPU, and the Core 2 Quad is still a quite reasonable CPU.

if you get less than around 85% GPU usage in games then you have a CPU bottlneck usually.

and make sure you download and install the latest drivers for the video card. not the ones on the disc that came with the 7770.

i kind of do not think there's a bottleneck since the 7770 and core 2 quad are a pretty good match for each other in terms of performance.

Its not an issue. There is always a bottleneck somewhere. The reason your graphics card is the performance bottleneck is because its naturally not that fast. However if you put in a very fast graphics card like a GTX 980 then your CPU would be the bottleneck.

Dont look at it as problem, as in all systems there is a bottleneck, as something must always limit performance.
