I need a pc build that play a heavily modded minecraft with 25 or so mods with 30 fps and nothing under while recording with dxtory at 30 fps. My budget is 900(including taxes and stuff and windows) Is this realistic in my price range? If not, let me know please. My pc needs to do this easily without lag and draw backs . Also I don't need a 1 tb hard drive I only need a 500 gb hard dive so it will cut down on the cost. Thanks and leave all the specs down bellow. thnx for any help if I get a processor like the i5 in my build please would I need a separately bought cooler because that's what people recommend but since I am on a budget in pretty sure I wont need it. also for dxtory I am am recording with lagarith loss codec or something like that. Keep in mind I need parts primarily for recording good quality minecraft with good fps so buy parts that suit that. I am not that knowledgeable at which parts are good for gaming so I would like if you would go in detail why you picked the parts but you don't have to. Once again thanks for any help!!!

(sorry for spelling and grammar errors)

CPU: 4460 because its the best bang for your buck i5 other than the 4690k.
Motherboard: Good motherboard for the price. Looks sick and H97 since your wont be OCing.
Memory: Basically any brand makes decent memory so basically get a 2x4gb kit with 1600MHz 9\10 CAS at lower budgets.
Storage: 1TB hard drive. Why? Because 500GB is a few dollars cheaper
Case: Figured you would want a really sick case to match everything else. If you want you can tone it down to a 200r\300r but this is a great case.
PSU: Seasonic makes the best PSUs. Could have gotten a cheaper seasonic made however this one i s modular and at this budget that you want one.

GPU: 970. Why? Because its currectly the best bang for your buck video card out there right now. Why Zotac? Because its the 2nd cheapest and it actually is performing really well. People hate on Zotac for some reason. Zotac is just a smaller company and this card is pretty sick. See a review on some Zotac 970s: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7GbfmIuL86k

dxtory doens't have h.264 accelerated recording as to where it records using the graphics card hardware from what i read on the speciifications website. and running minecraft with 25 mods + sounds like a heavy burden on the cpu to do while recording it.....do you think you can fit an i7 in your budget? it would be another 100 dollars and i think it's worth it honestly

Edit: forgot you needed an operating system

i'd save up the extra 200 bucks. get the win7 and get the i7

OP can simply use a 620c.. No, not modular but we will need to do this in order to fit room in the budget. Updated build:

thank you for the solution I need to make sure this build will do what I want but I am pretty that it will because an I5 can do editing right? and can record. And yes I might use shadow play but the thing is that it doesn't have the best quality but can you reassure me that this build can do it no problem. thank you!!!

also can this build record with shadow play? Thnx

Where I live I get taxed 12% on everything. Whether it be gas or toilet paper. Then I have to pay an electronics fee. Some companies include this fee in the price of the item so there are no worries there. I believe almost all Canadian retailers do this

perfect I live in Canada so win win plus I found a better case so I will cut down on price. I want to know if the build can record with dxtory because I think the cpu will do it but if the cpu cant handle recording with dxtory while playing a modded minecraft I will just use shadow play.
