i'd take the i5, better upgrade path. and better chipset features on the 1150 platform. in some cases the 8 core outperforms the i5 but overall the i5 is better.

Intel i5 4570 is better than FX-8350 at stock usage.
If are going to overclock FX-8350 with Better Cooler and Motherboard, then FX8350 would beat 4570.
If you are focussed on Games, go with Intel i5 4570. And also AMD is going to kill AM3+ Socket. You might not find find upgrade to this FX-8350.
