The system specification is as follows:
Motherboard: Gigabyte B75M-D3H
CPU: Intel Pentium G2020
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 4GB
PSU: Corsair VS550 rated at 550W
The motherboard has 2 PCIe slots as described below:
Slot 1: PCIe ver 3.0 x16 running at x16 speed
Slot 2: PCIe ver 2.0 x16 running at x4 speed
Slot 1 is occupied with an AMD Radeon R9 270X GPU.
Slot 2 is free.
Am planning to buy a NVIDIA GTX 750 Ti GPU and install it in Slot 2. Please advice me whether the NVIDIA GPU will work properly in Slot 2.
PS: I really do not care about the reduced speed in Slot 2.
