the best wifi adopter for my gaming pc

my uncle want to buy a laptop and he dont have internet there.He leaves in the next apartment so we have to move the router as close as possoble to my uncle apartement.I used to hve good ethernet cable and now what i am supposed to do?
i find this http://www.asus.com/Networking/PCEAC68/ wifi adopter with this as the faster because it is 802.11ac i have adsl 24 mbbs connection is it good for online gaming and downlaoding
without loosing speed?

that laptop he is buying should already have built in wifi. and you only have a 24mb connection, i dont think you need an adapter because it's not really going to make it all that much faster. and that adapter you linked wont work in laptop it's for a desktop.

since he hasn't purchased the laptop yet make sure it is 802.11 N, or 802.11 AC if you can find one reasonable price with it.
 


The thing is, routers operate on any number of different wifi standards and there is the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. If your router is a standard 2.4GHz b/g/n then getting the high end AC68 will be a waste of money.

I suggest you have a look at your router to find its manufacturer, name and model.

That way I can suggest a wireless adapter that is sufficient for your network and not have to spend on high end features that you cannot use.
