I've been looking at mATX mobos using H97 chipset. I thought one of the two differences between H97 and Z97 is that H97 does not support CrossFireX and SLI. However, when I pull up the specs in many of the mATX H97 boards, such as ASUS H97M-PLUS, it says it supports CF.

Isn't it weird? Am I missing something?

Solution
CF is supported on boards with the second slot at X4 speed where SLI needs minimum X8 speed. I recommend against running CF at X16 X4 speeds since it has on average 10% performance penalty vs board that will do it at X8 X8 speed like the Z97 boards.
