Hello Tom's Hardware!
Im new on this site and this is my first post.

Im currently upgrading my computer, since my CPU (amd fx-8350) broke. I allready bought new case, PSU, SSD and 2tb hard drive, because I was very sure that it was my PSU which failed instead of CPU.

Currently I have been thinking to buy MSI GTX 970 and i7 4790k. Feel free to suggest some cheaper ones too. This computer will be made mostly for gaming (warlords of draenor), recording gameplay, editing videos and rendering them. Im pretty sure my PSU (XFX XXX (=pro?) 650w Bronze 80+) can handle those components, but if someone could check this it would be nice.

Now to the main question. I know very little about motherboards. And since when this is my first Intel's processor I dont even know which MOBO supports which Intel's processors. So I would appreciate it alot if someone could suggest me a MOBO and tell some reasons why just that MOBO. I would like to get a cheap motherboard as possible, but it should have a long lifetime aswell. My requirements are very simple, all that comes to my mind at the moment is a 6 or more SATA slots, HDMI slot, and 6+ USB slots behind.

Thanks!

I decided to save some money.

Im thinking about changing processor to i5 4690k and gpu to MSI geforce GTX 770 2048MB or MSI Radeon R9 290 Gaming 4G 4096MB. 25€ price difference isnt problem. I do like Nvidia more than AMD, but is there a big difference on gameplay between these two cards (10fps+, I did some research but I didnt find any page comparing FPS between these two cards). I didnt find any if these cards GPU rendering on Sony Vegas, if one them does thats going to be a very big plus.

Is there any other card which may be worth to buy? MSI GTX 750ti's price looks amazing, but how is the performance compared to other two gpu's?
