I am building my little brother's pc and I want to double check my info. I want to match a MSI Z87-G41 mother board with a Intel Core i3-4130 3.4 3 FCLGA 1150 Processor

here : http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00D12OBEA/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=38J2L2048TF0P&coliid=I2VSMBH5KMO6F4

with this CPU : Intel Core i3-4130 3.4 3 FCLGA 1150 Processor
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EUUKVXM/ref=s9_psimh_gw_p147_d0_i1?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=desktop-1&pf_rd_r=08MVZERRD6KJYSBHW2D6&pf_rd_t=36701&pf_rd_p=1935651402&pf_rd_i=desktop

I know that they both say 1150 on them and that my research says yes but I have never built a pc before so I just want to make sure. I have fixed many a pc and laptop and have replaced a few mother boards but i just ended up getting the same motherboard.

thanks and sorry for being a noob, but I want to be sure.

sigh... more people who don't know what their doing because they don't do research.

Yes... yes they will fit. Please... do research. Its great to ask questions on Tom's, but this is something you can easily find online. Don't build the Pc unless you know exactly what you are doing. Do a bunch more research please.

Thanks for the quick reply, like I said I do know my way around a computer, its just that I wanted to make sure.

anoori9000 I am sorry I made you mad, but I did do my research and was 88% sure that I had the right mother board with CPU but there is a-lot of info on the web and some of it is wrong. I trust Tomshardware. I usually buy a stock pc then upgrade a part at a time. So I am not so new to this, totally.

rolli59, thanks for the quick answer.

have a good day gentle men.

Aww no man. Im not mad. I just want people to know what they're doing before they go at it. I just don't want it to turn out bad, then you later regret it when you know more. (Psst, that happened to me a long while ago when i built my first. Lucky for me, I sold it to a friend and built a kickass one.) :D

Remember to pick best answer!

EDIT: I was a little firm in the first answer wasn't I. :D

Had the same problem with a friend of mind. Cost him a lot of cash after not listening to me. His mother-board ended up being bad but there but couldn't return it.

No man you were good.
