Logitech Unifying Receiver Issues

I am currently working on a Logitech K320 keyboard and M510 mouse. They are both set up with the same unifying receiver. For years now (not just with the current mouse/keyboard, but with others), I've had issues with 'reception'. I'll be in the middle of playing a game and suddenly the mouse will stop working, or the keyboard. This tends to happen multiple times in an hour. I try my best to keep the line of sight free, and more recently, I put my PC on a stand so that its on the same level as the keyboard and mouse and is pointed right at them - its literally 12 to 18 inches away from both, and I still have the issue.

Is anyone else plagued by these problems? Maybe I've just gotten a few bad receivers, or maybe newer ones work better than older ones? Any suggestions?

I've had an issue with one of those recievers when it was in my computer and only 2 feet away from the mouse/keyboard but bellow them and in the back of the PC. I usee an extention to put the reciever about 2 feet away but on top my desk and above the mouse/keyboard and had no issues after that.

Thread is old, apologies for reviving this.

Not gaming-related, but I was getting similar issues with [strike]K220[/strike] K270 and M510 using the same unifying receiver. Responsiveness was randomly flaking out. On a whim, I decided to turn off Bluetooth and disconnect the Fitbit wireless dongle, which also uses Bluetooth, and responsiveness of both mouse and keyboard immediately improved.

If you really need Bluetooth on, you might have to use a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. If not, turn it off when it's not needed. Seems Bluetooth frequencies and the Unifying Receiver clashes with each other.
