How ideal is this for gaming on arma 3 bf4 and CS go http://pcpartpicker.com/p/hWRjvK

Solution
It's good enough for those games, to a degree. Say however, if you're playing in a 64 man game in battlefield 4, your CPU will hold back the GTX 970 to a degree as it'll be under the strain of a very processor oriented task.

You could always upgrade to an i5 down the road, but I'd suggest just saving a little more and allocating it to the build fund now. Cause looking at your build again, you have a really budget centric mobo selected. I'd either wait a while longer and get a decent non overclock oriented i5/mobo set-up. Or do so now, while scaling back your GPU selection
