hi i have a m5a78l-m usb3 motherboard and i am going to upgrade the processor to a 8350 to stop a bottleneck on my gtx 970.

would there be any reason to upgrade my motherboard or is this motherboard ok?

Oh yeah, sorry!

It's compatible. You're making a nice jump in performance. Though I'd suggest that if you plan to do overclocking of any sort, to consider the 8320 instead, as it overclocks past the stock performance of the 8350/8370. However, if you're not an overclocker and just want solid stock performance, you're good on the 8350 as the 8370 gains don't warrant the price difference
