825w PSU with 2 CPU power and 1 PCIe (2x 6 pin) power. SLI?

I've got a Dell T5600 and a (proprietary) 825W power supply that plugs into a power-distribution-board. The board itself has one output for PCIE that splits to two 6pin cables; two 8pin outputs for the two CPUs (the board supports dual CPU, but I only have one).

I wanted to know what my options were for a new video card. I know most newer GPUs use one 8pin and one 6pin PCIe power cables. If I wanted to SLI, could I unplug the 2nd 8pin output for the CPU and somehow use that for PCIe? How much wattage / amps can I safely get for the 2nd GPU?

Is there a way to convert the EPS 8-pin into a PCI-E 8-pin (like the 20->24 pin or 24->20 pin) so that I can use the power trapped in that rail?

Thanks,

No, they are incompatible connectors but you dont really need that connector if you are running one cpu, it would boot without it. Although you dont need it you cant use it for a graphics card as although it has the same number of pins in is keyed differently
