How many FPS can I get on the latest games (BF4, Metro Last: Light etc) with these specifications?

Hello. Planning on upgrading my gpu to the r9 270x. With the gpu my overall specs are:

CPU: i7 2600 (3.4ghz)
GPU: r9 270x
RAM: 8gb

Many sources online state that you get 60 fps avg on ultra settings for BF4, some youtube videos say that you get lower but that could be because they have a different processor than mine. So how do I tell what kind of performance I will get?

you might be a little bit shy of 60fps at ultra/1080p, but you should be able to push 60fps at high for sure. the i7 2600 is still a very powerful processor, and will handle even high end video cards without many problems.

300 W PSU right now LOL. Would a 600 W PSU do the job? Which ones do you recommend? (thanks for replying btw)
