for few days i have been reading through all kind of stuffs about intel and amd processors. Finally i want to ask 'are there any differences between amd processors and intel processors which are tangible or can be felt ?' I mean quite noticeable differences.

well you would have to read all the gaming benchmark comparisons between 2 specific intel and AMD processors, although most benchmarks are GPU limited, so don't tell you so much about the CPU. For the same price, they are about equal, but of course you can pay more for Intel and there's a reason most people choose to do so.

here i have a question is intel processors have mainly two advantages over amd
1. lower tdp so most probably lower heating and higher efficiency
2. superior single core performance.

1. Depends on Which tier you are using.

For instance AMD has their AM1 socket which have a TDP of 25W. These are the lowest TDP socketed desktop processors today. Their nearest TDP cousins are the i3-4130T and i3-3220T. But for the cost of those CPU's you could get the motherboard and CPU for socket AM1. AM1 socket chips are to me good for low end HD media players or home fileservers or just a system for someone to browse the web.

AMD also has their FM2+ chips that are TDP configurable they make good midrange HD media boxes or someone to play web games etc on.

2. Unless you are comparing Atom BayTrail to Beema/Mullins then yes otherwise in the lowend AMD actually has a better IPC and Graphics. You are just hardpressed to find something using Mullins.

Is the higher price worth it.. Well depends on your price point and usage really.

my main concern is the heat generated by amd processors. if i dont buy an good cooler will they fry themselves ? not power consumption my concern is heating.

Its all tantamount to what you're using the system for generally & if your adding in a discreet gpu or are happy with onboard graphics.
The amd fm2/fm2+ apus are a great buy for a cheap integrated system - I would buy over any Intel i3 as the integrated graphics are just so much better.
Contrary to popular belief the amd chips don't really run any hotter than their Intel counterparts & the tdp can generally be ignored - I run a 6300 in a htpc/semi gaming rig under my TV & CPU draw in normal use situations never really gets above 45w.
Just the stock amd fans are pretty crappy & can get noisy under load.
Something like the zalman cnps5x for around $15 is well worth the money just for the noise factor & will fit near any mb/CPU combination.
Bang for Buck though the fx6300 is where its at irregardless of what Intel fanboys will tell you.
The only reserve is that matx motherboards for this chip are thin on the ground - there are really only 2 options with a gigabyte & an Asus 78 series board available.
If your going for a full size atx board then there are many great budget options around though.

Well again it depends. What are you going to do? Are you going to play games, create content/media, compile code, etc. Or just browse the web and play facebook games. The AM1 chips I listed can be cooled with just a heatsink without worrying about heat. Generally the more power consumed the more heat is generated.

As far as cooling concerns go AMD provides adequate cooling with their stock coolers they are not likely to fry themselves using that but the ones on the FX line of chips can be loud. But as far as things go we really can't make to many recommendations for what is good performance unless the desired usage is known.

desired usage is playing casual games like fifa 13, fifa 14 etc, nfs most wanted etc. running math softwares such as matlab etc and ensure smooth overall performance and little bit of multitasking

Well the FX-6300 will be fine for all of that you will need a decent GPU for NFS: Most Wanted if you want to play that at 1080P on high. Fifa 15 isn't to bad on the GPU usage Fifa 14 can run on high on a 7850K APU apparently. But not 15 or NFS: Most Wanted. Matlab it seems can take advantage of more cores sometimes but overall for a smooth multitasking system 8-16GB memory with that CPU should help create a smooth working environment and maybe something like a 270X for your GPU for smooth gameplay. (BTW I wouldn't call those casual :) Bejeweled is Casual Fifa and NFS just make you a normal gamer lol)

I just watched a video on youtube on fx6300 by nicolas. There he showed that using stock cooler the processor has 54°C temperature under load. Is it correct ?

50-60c pretty normal under gaming etc in a decent case with an intake/exhsust fan
The stock cooler does the job fine - my recommendation for an aftermarket cooler is mainly due to noise - the amd fan is incredibly loud under load - if you can put up with that then it works well enough
Personally use aftermarket cooling in any build I do though so am a little biased.
