Please suggest which should i go for better gaming performance at ultra amd fx 9370 or Intel i5 4440 with asus strix gtx 970 4gb

I5 (pref k) , the fx is stupidly hot and powrr hungry with geneally worse performance in games

Really depends on what game. If it is CPU intensive, then i5 is the best IMO. Don't forget an AMD CPU tend to be hot, so I recommend an aftermarket cooler.

And also to add, don't forget about the difference in socket and chipsets for both Intel and AMD.
