how much would a custom watercooling loop cost for this kind of system?

Hey,

at the moment for my build i'm planning to buy a h220x if it releases to australia within the next few months, and its an expandable system. So i was wondering what i would need if i was going to add water cooling to two GTX 970s and additional reservoirs / radiators that i'd need for that kind of setup.

I assume in that case i buy a pair of reference GTX 970s? Or do i wait for EVGA's version to come out with water blocks already attached. Then what extras would i need to go with that?

All in all how much would it cost really?

EKWB makes nice kits that have all the starter parts and pumps that have the power to add a few more blocks for cooling.

But with the Swiftech, you have the ability to expand and if the loop is big enough you can run a parallel pump in the loop.

You'll be looking around $400--480 for all the parts depending on what you pick out.

You'll need these materials

1. RAD 240 min to ideal 360 or 420 it would be better to run 2 240s 1 per GPU if the case has the room or you can go with 2 140's.
2. RAD fans 2--8 fans needed depends on the type of RADs used and if you choose a Push/Pull configuration
3. Water blocks 2 if running SLI
4. Connection fittings 2--4 for the RADs 2 for each block
5. Tubing between 2--5ft depending on how many cuts you make and or if you have a mess-up
5. Cooling fluid

That is kinda the basic run down of items needed for GPU loop
