Two problems may be related.
No 1. My Google account email address has a missing 'l' (L) from my name. On editing and correcting my email address Google requires response from me after I receive a security email. This email never arrives, I think it may be due to an automated system and the email is sent to the non existent corrupt address. I could not contact Google to ask for advice. Am I right in thinking that if I delete the Google account that I cannot reinstate it with any previously used email address.
Problem No 2. Pictures downloaded from my camera into Picasa and then selected to be filed in My Pictures on my (Lenovo 540 Win8.1 A-I-O computer) will not send (although it has done so). A red circle flashes and nothing happens. Again, I can't contact Google for advice without a working account. The Picasa program works when tried out on a Windows 7 laptop, so I see no problem with the camera or cable.
