Sorry about the consistent questions about this psu but im really confused about its reviews and other peoples opinions about it. Some said it sucks some said its OK. Well what is it really, I saw it was listed in tier 4 but thats the Smart series not smart SE. Im really confused right now. Btw my friend uses the 530w version of it no problem so far what so ever and im about to buy its 730w version due to its price. HELP PLS.

i guess a few days later is better than never.
thermaltake products have historically been untrustworthy to say the least. carrying a pricetag similar to -actually- good units, without actually delivering anything quality.
have i read anything specifically about that thermaltake psu? honestly: no. however, i have read about other units, and any reviewer that actually checks ripple and output quality (as a minimal example) has been...less than enthused.

nor will i. i dont bother. until i see the community as a whole accept thermaltake as a solid provider, i wont waste my time reading any kind of thorough review. perhaps thats a sheeply mentality, but in this case it isnt without due cause.

i'd personally never bother with a thermaltake psu.

well, maybe "never" is a bit harsh..but they would have to do some serious retooling of their product line for me to even remotely consider it.
thermaltake has a long standing history of producing poo-poo products.

do i know specifically about the PSU you're considering? nope. for my own peace of mind, i dont think i need to
