The NZXT 630 has a 10 fan fan controller located in it's case.
And I have a question about it, but also fan controllers in general.
I want to run seven, possibly eight fans through it, I did the math and seven fans would take up 30.12 watts, but the fan controller is rated for 30.
Will this run fine? And if it won't, is there any way I could take a Y adapter and adapt two fans into one cable to lower power?

You don't want to exceed the output of the controller.

You should consider running some of the fans off of the motherboard or evaluate why you want that many fans. Why do you need that many fans? Are you rocking 3 or 4 290x's?

Fans make noise. You should install the minimum amount of fans necessary to keep your rig under specified temps for your components. If you're getting that many fans for the looks, I'd suggest possibly going with other forms of lighting, such as LED strips.

The 3 200mm fans that come with the Phantom 630 have kept all of my components nice and cool. The only fans I've found I needed additional are the two I use in push/pull on the H80 radiator. I've run 2-way SLI with 680s and 780s and haven't needed...

Just some things to think about.
