whats wrong with my computer?

Hey all, i need help with my computer. When i try to play CS GO, when i reach the "wait for 0:05 seconds" it freezes on continue, 0:03 or 0:05 and locks up the computer and i have to restart it. And when i try to play Metro Last Light, it goes on the menu cutscene, and then the sound cuts out and the game freezes and i cant alt tab out for a while. These problems just started on sunday, but went away yesterday (i could play metro last light normally) and now it does this. Whats the problem?
Specs: GTX 570 1,2GB, 16GB RAM and intel i7 2600k 3,4 ghz 4 cores. I havent OCd anything.

directx
vc++
nvidia physx
your graphic card drivers
update ur bios

try install the latest drivers if it comes back and wont go by new drivers then re install windows

oh and is asus ai suite reliable? or does it give false warnings?

guys pls help. i tried playing crysis 3 but then it froze on the first mission. the computer responded for a little while but it wouldnt respond when i tried to quit the process in task manager > processes. do i have a virus, as crysis 3, metro last light and cs go wont work and they all jam exactly like the other?

You SHOULD be able to play those games, so something else is going on.

Try reinstalling them, and at the end of the install when it asks if you want to install extra things like directX and .Net, install ALL OF THEM.

I just tried running furmark, it crashed the computer immediatly. And oh a few days ago before i disabled antisurge the games crashed and the computer restarted saying that "anti surge was launched to protect unsteady psu" or something like that. after that i disabled it and when games crash now it just jams and i have to press the start button. could this mean a faulty PSU? im seriously starting to worry that some component of my computer is broken
edit: when i try to join a payday 2 game , when its on loading, the computer makes a strange noise (sounds like someone sucking water) and then game jams and i have to launch the computer again.

well not really , you can like surf the web and stuff but gaming not really because if you ask too much power ffrom the psu it will blow and not turn back on , thus it could ruin your other components i suggest if you are going to use this set it to power saving mode and dont game until you have another one (better to be safe than sorry)

edit: and is it safe to play games that are not demanding like arma 2 oa overpoch and stuff? fallout new vegas? and how many watts would i need for my new psu
