brand new msi gtx 780 not working

just got the msi gtx 780 from ebuyer and get to fit it and no boot i dont get the post screen (intel image with f2 for bios option) it just a black screen i put in my old card and it boots up fine :/ using a corsair cx 600 psu

sounds like a dead card to me.

try to clr_cmos, see if that helps. it also could be the psu (might not be able to power that card). otherwise you probably bought a DOA card.

I been on the phone with ebuyer about the problem and they have set up a return but i really wanted this card to work my card broke 2 months ago (r9 270x hawk) and i rma that to find out its discontinued and had to wait all this time to get my money back and now i get this it comes dead -.-

make sure your mb has the newest bios file to rule out a bios bug.

This is normal I would keep the card in there connect everything to it and boot up your PC and see if display turns on after 15 minutes(personal experience) if not go on your old gpu and boot up your PC get teamviwere something like that download it make a tons of shortcuts and desktop and if you have a iPad or something download teamviwere on it then make a personal password and username from PC for teamviwere make sure you get rid of password on the desktop and turn your PC off take old gpu out put the new one connect everything than wait for your PC to boot up so give it 5 minutes then try opening those short cuts from your desktop and try to connect with what ever device your using to control the PC and from there if you can see your PC screen go and download latest drivers for the new gpu from nvidia or amd and you should be good I tried this on my old 650 Ti

Don't touch the bios of your motherboard don't listen to people because if up install any new bios it can mess up your pc

I would love to put I'm at school right now that's happening cause the drivers are bad you need the latest ones this happend to me and than my cursor showed up but nothing else

Yeah if it's not drivers than the PCI on card is broken I mean if you want I can skype you later to help you wit the problem but right now I can't do much
