ASUS Radeon R9 270x DirectCU II TOP black screen and 3 beeps/ NOOB

Hi.

Yesterday I bought a brand new ASUS Radeon R9 270x DirectCU II TOP graphics card. I put it on my motherboard, plugged it to power supply (900 W). However when I start the computer all I get is black screen and 3 beeps. Can someone help me with this?

Did you properly un install the drivers for the old card first?

Well I went to Device Manager and unistalled it from there.

If the card is correctly installed in the slot with both PCIe power cables from PSU connected and monitor cable connected to the card then it looks like you may have a faulty card.
